Sha-Rock is the first Master of Ceremonies hip-hop artist to come from the Bronx. This album cover was designed to pay homage to her career and the origin of hip-hop music. This album art balances both the birthplace of hip hop “1520 Sedgewick Ave” and the historical Bronx burn that started in the 1970s and continued into the 1980s. New York City was on the brink of declaring bankruptcy and the South Bronx experienced a weightier burden during the economic downtown due to "white flight", high unemployment rates, and record-low property values. Slumlords and gangs alike burned down uninhabitable buildings and using insurance fraud to recoup these property value losses. 1520 Sedgewick Ave rises from the ashes through the lyricism that paints a time of rebirth and resilience.
